Virus on DA

Ok, so, people have been wondering where have I been? They ask "Why's it taking you, like, a week or two to respond to my freakin' note about contest entry crap?!" Well, children, it's because of DA. "Say what?" You say, "But FOR WHAT? You're not doing some kind of hugbox call out about how no one loves you are you?!" No! Of course not. EVERYBODY LOVES ME. EVERY. BODY. O______O
The reason I'm not getting on DA so much is because of a HORRENDOUS VIRUS that the DA website has on it that attacks people who visit the website. It's been suggested that it comes through the ads and, therefore, targets us poor stooges who don't have premium memberships. I have been attacked by this virus TWICE while visiting DA. Though I have fixed it both times on my computer, it's still left me a little shy to come here. Therefore, I only visit DA on public computers, for short periods of time just to answer notes and clean out my inbox.
This is what USUALLY happens to me...in case it might happen to you: The virus usually pops up and my virus protection program says it's taking care of it and says it's squirreling it away to some vault. After this happens, I'm usually kicked off the internet and when I try to get on, it asks me what PROGRAM I want to use to open this FILE. The file being THE INTERNET. I try to open other programs like, oh, Photoshop or System Restore or even FREAKIN' PAINT and I get the window that asks "What program do you want to choose to open this file?" It's a PAIN IN THE ASS and ridding my computer of this virus is usually an hour-long process. It cuts into a lot of my time.
I'm not the only one who's been attacked by this virus, as, another deviant contacted me recently to warn me about it and, once finding out I had already contracted it before, glean my information onto how to remove the virus. It's going around DA and, though I've reported it, twice, so far I have NO IDEA if or when they're going to fix it, and I don't even know if anyone is going to INFORM ME that the problem has been resolved.

As many of you know (and by many I mean probably none) I have recently finished up spending 2 weeks over in the land of the rising sun being escorted by the lovely and gracious . She showed me around the WONDEROUS land of Japan and I learned many many things. One thing to note, Japan is very...very clean. A clean country that one. Also, Japan is preeeeeetty much EXACTLY how it is in the animes...'cept without mechs and brightly colored hair and monsters and...it's like the animes in SCENERY. Yes. Lets go with that.
I believe I've had the most Japanese vacation out of anyone, quite possibly, ever. There were Japanese foods, schools, DDR, discrimination, purikura, temples, shrines, harassment, Engrish, Japanese school girls, scariness, and...well...why am I babbling? You can SEE some of my depictions of this adventure here in my comics of the journey. Why? Because I can't seem to write without drawing and vice versa. TIS MY CURSE!
In case you were wondering about what it was like to stay with the amazing BlazeRocket let me tell you this...it was all of what you thought it would be AND MORE.
So, like being sucked inside a black hole and surviving.
HA HA. No really. o.o
No no, of course I'm kidding. In all honesty it was a great experience. Blaze is just...so awesome and worked so hard to show my prissy ass a good time. Even with my bitching and constant confusion (s'what you get when you don't know the language and don't read the schedule 9.9;; ). Blaze is probably one of the most gracious hostesses I've had the pleasure and honor of staying with. She was great about humoring me from my desire for horror movies and haunted houses to petting wild deer and babbling about Lietro (not at the same time...THOUGH WOULD FEEL STRANGELY FITTING I BELEIVE). So, a heartfelt "thank you" to the mighty fandom legend that is and her wonderful dream-come-true vacation in the far east. I have an experience I will never forget with a good good friend. Thanks Blaze.

I totally gizz myself over new Wriggle art. She's one of my all time fave Evo artists. She, too, has lingered in the fandom for awhile and her style is simply gorgeous and fun. Every time I see a new piece from Wriggle I just coo over its goodness. It's like a comforter fresh from the dryer on a cold winter night. Mmmm mmmm.
